Hart Brothers 1996 16 Years・Bowmore

The Hart brothers' eldest son, Ian, worked at Richard Patterson's father's company, W.R. Patterson, until the late 1950s, and together with their third son, Donald, they founded the current Hart Brothers in 1962. Established ``Ian G. Hart'', the predecessor of ``Ian G. Hart''.
The second son, Alistair, worked as a blender at Whyte & Mackay until 1975 and joined his brother's company in 1976. In 1988, with the retirement of his eldest son Ian, the company changed its name to the current Hart Brothers Company, and at the same time adopted its current style of selling single malt as its main product.

Founded in 1779, Bowmore is the ``Queen of Islay.''
The Bowmore Distillery, located in the center of Islay off the west coast of Scotland, is famous for its peat and malting processes, which are influenced by the sea breeze, and the first cellar directly facing the sea, located at sea level. What a story.
This Bowmore was aged for 16 years and was distilled in 1996 after being acquired by Suntory. This Bowmore was bottled about 10 years ago, and in recent years Bowmore distilled in the 1990s has become even more highly regarded, so it feels like it has become quite valuable.
