IWAI TRADITION Wine Cask Finish

"Iwai Tradition" is named after Kiichiro Iwai, who played a part in the creation of Japanese whisky and designed the pot stills for Mars Whisky, and is a blended whisky that has been further aged (finished) in empty barrels used for red wine brewed at Mars Yamanashi Winery.
The elegant, soft mouthfeel is harmoniously combined with the aged wood aroma of sherry casks and the sweet vanilla aroma of wine casks, while the tannins and umami of red wine add just the right amount of depth to the flavor tone, resulting in a masterpiece.
