After a slightly colder winter than average, buds and flowers sprouted and bloomed smoothly, leading to the harvest. The rainfall from the end of August to early September increased humidity, and the removal of grapes damaged by the rain was key. It is not an excellent vintage, but it can be said to be a good one. As soon as the wine is uncorked, light cherry and cassis nuances spread, and the aroma and body balance is excellent. The balance with the secondary aromas and sweetness that are characteristic of Sangiovese is also exquisite.
