Grands Echezeaux・Georges Noellat・2017

The appeal of Georges Noellat's wines lies in their soft, supple flavors, dominated by dense fruit. The vines in Echézeaux are over 100 years old, planted before 1915, while those in Beaumont and Grands Echézeaux are over 80-90 years old. Even the younger vines were planted in the 1980s and early 1990s, resulting in an extremely high average age. The grapes are cultivated using the lutte raisonnée method, and the winemaking process employs cold maceration, ensuring gentle extraction. The wines are aged in lightly toasted Cavan barrels to avoid obscuring the terroir's expression.

"Echézeaux Grand Cru" is made from grapes grown on vines over 100 years old. The sweet aroma of red fruits spreads, blending with exotic spices and dark chocolate. It has excellent concentration and texture. It is full-bodied and has velvety smooth tannins, resulting in a beautiful, long-lasting finish.
