The appearance is a brilliant ruby color. When poured into a glass, aromas of fruits such as red cherry and raspberry emerge with hints of cinnamon, cloves, and violets. In the mouth, the fruit flavor spreads with a sense of concentration, and the silky tannins create a smooth texture. Dignified acidity gives wine elegance. Please enjoy this wine, which has the gorgeousness of Vosne Romanée.

Meo Camuzet

A prestigious Burgundy family cultivated by Li Jayet

Méo Camuset is one of the domaines representing the Côte d'Or, based in the village of Vosne-Romanée. As a producer who is said to be the successor of the late Henri Jayet, the god of Burgundy, it is extremely popular with Burgundy lovers around the world.

Meo Camuset, a prestigious domaine that owns a famous wine field in Burgundy
The history of Méo Camuset began in the early 1900s with Etienne Camuset, a producer of Vosne Romanée and a member of the Côte d'Or prefectural assembly. The feature of this domaine is the quality and quantity of its special vineyards. It is one of the most prestigious families in Burgundy, owning four Grand Crus, Clos de Vougeot, Richebourg, Echezeaux, and Corton, and five Premier Crus, mainly in the villages of Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée.

The point of the plot owned by Meo Camuset is that it is in an outstanding location among the Grand Crus. Clos de Vougeot is located in a prime location directly below Château du Clos de Vougeot, while Echezeaux is located at the top of the vineyard. Richebourg owns 1 hectare of land in Verois, the top section. The only Grand Cru on the Côte de Beaune, Corton is a monopole located south of Le Rogne-et-Corton on the Ladois-Seligny side.

Another monopole is Clos Saint-Philibert, the only white wine field owned by Meo Camuzet, which Domaine worked on from cultivation. The field is located about 330 meters up the slope from Echezeaux, a special field, and embodies high quality despite being in the Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits appellation. Meo Camuzet is famous as a maker of red wine, but this white wine from Monopole, available for less than 10,000 yen, is a brand you cannot miss.

Additionally, in 2014, he and his friend Jay Boberg, the president of a music company, launched a new winemaking project in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, USA, and are active as "Nicola Jay." .
