This Esprit Nature is the culmination of Henri Giraud's 30 years of research into crafting the finest Champagne. Nature, rather than the so-called "vin naturel" (natural wine), reflects his philosophy of "working in harmony with nature to create Champagne." It is vinified in Argonne wood barrels and terracotta egg-shaped tanks. The barrels, a defining feature of Henri Giraud, are crafted from oak trees in the Argonne Forest, reflecting the winemaker's commitment not only to the terroir of the vineyards but also to the terroir of the Argonne wood barrels. The wine offers aromas of fresh fruit, including ripe peaches and pears. The richness of Pinot Noir and the complexity of barrel aging are impressive.
