While his wines are certainly rich in style, this is the result of fully ripe grapes, each vineyard's unique character concentrated in their own unique flavor, being reflected in the wine. A closer look at his work reveals that, within its full flavor, the richness of Pinot Noir is densely packed with the individuality of the vineyard and the refinement that is unique to Burgundy. Fermentation: Stainless steel tanks. Aging: 10-14 months in barriques (15% new oak). Cultivation: Lutte raisonnée, without herbicides or pesticides.
