Saint-Romain Rouge ``Sous Roches''・Chassorney・2021

Soil: clay/calcareous. Maceration: Semi-maceration in a carbonic wooden tank for 21 days. Fermentation: 1 and a half months using natural yeast. Aging: 12 months in Qvevri 14hL, 3 months in stainless steel tanks.

The scent of ripe dark cherries and the red fruit of grozeille overlaps with the sweet scent of praline. The wine is soft, juicy, and has a smooth texture with rich fruit, and the fine grained and delicate tannins blend in beautifully!
