The harvest date was August 28, 2020. The yield was 40hL/ha. The vineyard is located across the national highway from the 1er Cru Les Monts Luisants, and Fred, who fell in love with the wine's similar character to Les Monts Luisants, began fermenting it in 2017. Maceration took place in wooden tubs for 21 days, and wild yeast was used for fermentation. The wine was aged for 12 months in 14hL Georgian qvevri and for 3 months in stainless steel tanks.
The bright red fruit of raspberries, the noble scent of roses, and the oriental aroma of ginger are gorgeous. The wine is soft and glossy, with a gentle, juicy fruit flavor that permeates the palate, and the balance of dashi-like umami, refined minerality, and delicate tannins is exquisite!
