70-year-old vines, granite soil. Chilled whole bunch grapes, carbonic maceration for 10 days.
Aged for 4 months in 500L demi-muid.

If you drank it blind, you might think it was white, as it has a gorgeous aroma reminiscent of muscat and lychee. The flavor of the 70-year-old vines gradually emerges from the background, and the aftertaste has a hint of black tea!

Cinsault is a mass-produced variety often blended as a secondary grape in southern France. The granite allows it to develop its expressiveness early on, fully expressing the terroir of the Albert Mountains. It's easy to drink, but there's more to Fleur Rouge!

The name of the cuvée, "Le Fond de l'air est rouge," comes from the title of a 1977 French film. Literally translated, it means "The air is red" or "Red is floating in the air."

The theme is red, which can be said to be the color of pacifism, anarchism, and revolution.

And the color of wine. Jean-François's philosophy is pacifism and anti-system, which is close to the ideas of this film, hence the name.
