Located south of Cazes, this 2-hectare plot is called Lec-del-Vie (Water of Life in Occitan). Located at an altitude of 220m, it has clay-limestone soils. This wine uses young Syrah vines planted in 2008. The name is a combination of the plot name and the French pronunciation of "o" (water). Aromas of violets, black and blue fruits, licorice, and peppery herbs are present. The fruit is fresh and pure, with crystal-clear acidity and minerality. The wine has a focused and elegant finish, surprising for a young Syrah vine growing in a south-facing vineyard.
