Bourgogne Cotes de Beaune uses grapes from multiple plots near Meursault, and is a wine with a pleasant texture that spreads throughout the mouth with the same deep flavor as Meursault. Rich in complex aromatic nuances derived from 18 months of barrel aging, it has a bright character with lively, fresh acidity that tightens the whole thing. This is a book that truly embodies the beauty of Beaune!

Butterfield

The "B" on the label stands for "Beaune," "Beautful," and "Butterfield."

Producer David Butterfield from Toronto
Toronto native David Butterfield inherited his passion for wine from his parents, who loved the land and wine of Burgundy. When he first visited Burgundy at the age of 16, he decided, ``I will never look back. Making great wine is my goal.'' Later, David moved to France and first studied brewing at the brewing school in Beaune, then further training at Deux Montille, Domaine de Chassolnay, etc. In 2004, he launched a négociant business, and in 2005, he finally released his long-awaited wine made by his own hands to the world. His idea of winemaking is to capture the essence of the terroir. He goes so far as to say, ``It's important that the energy of the terroir is contained in the wine, otherwise it is meaningless.''

Pursuing the “beauty of Beaune”
In his first vintage, he suddenly created a wonderful wine. Only 2400 pieces produced. Filled with his thoughts, the result is a wine with a pleasant texture that spreads throughout the mouth and is reminiscent of Meursault. It was already popular at restaurants in Beaune, where wine producers gather, and most of the wine was consumed within Beaune, making it difficult to find it outside of Beaune the following year. The unique shape of the label ``B'' represents his thoughts on the words ``Beaune,'' ``Beautiful,'' and ``Butterfield.'' This wine, filled with his passion for pursuing the ``beauty of Beaune'', will continue to grow without disappointing expectations.
