Devils Cask Ⅲ・Bowmore

Founded in 1779, Bowmore is the ``Queen of Islay.'' The Bowmore Distillery, located in the center of Islay off the west coast of Scotland, is famous for its peat and malting processes, which are influenced by the sea breeze, and the first cellar directly facing the sea, located at sea level. What a story.

This "Devil's Cask" is an ambitious work that is made up of unprocessed spirits aged in 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry and Pedro Ximnez Sherry barrels, and the third batch was bottled in NAS in 2015.
This was a popular series that combined the sweet flavor of dried fruits derived from sherry barrels with Bowmore's house style.
The nose is a treasure trove of aromas: dark, exotic fruits, sultanas, mango and raisins, and toffee.
The taste is smooth, glossy oil, chocolate candy and salted caramel, Alba coffee with orange. The finish is long, with smoked fruitcake, blood orange and sea salt.
