This is a stylish and elegant cuvée among his wines. Coux de Pie means "magpie's tail" in French. This refers to a tuxedo with a split back like a magpie's tail. The label name of Coux de Pie expresses the refinement and elegance of a tuxedo that one would only wear a few times in one's life. Made from 100% Grenache, which Valentin loves. A very delicate wine. A wonderful marriage of perfectly aged Grenache and the smoky aroma of the terroir. It has a taste reminiscent of pickled plums, with mellow tannins and a salty taste.
