This is JF Nick's first Mourvedre cuvée, made possible through a collaboration with Potlon Mine.
Although it is a red wine, it has a fresh acidity, like biting into a whole apple. Juicy yet refreshing, it has a clear fruitiness.
Mourvedre, which tends to be high in tannins and alcohol, turns into a cool, refreshing red wine in the hands of this master!
A miraculous collaboration with his beloved disciple Potron Mine!
Jean-Sebastien Joan of Potlon Mine made a sensational debut in 2008 after learning about winemaking and brewing at Fleur Rouge.
In January 2024, the shocking news suddenly reached Japan: "Jean-Sebastian will retire in 2022!"
His last wine will be the 2022 VT. However, he will continue to grow grapes after 2023, and JF Nick has purchased all of the grapes. And so, the miraculous master-student collaboration wine "Terre de Fou" was born!
The wine's name literally means "land of fire". It was chosen to evoke the image of the scorching hot land of Roussillon and the red clay soil of Jean-Sebastian's vineyards.
