The official name of Hospices de Nuits is Hospices de Nuits Saint-Georges.
As the name suggests, it is a charity hospital based in the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Hospices de Beaune is famous for its wines, but Hospices de Nuits also produces wine in the same way.
The fact that this one is more minor may be due to the size of the village and the fact that there are no Grand Crus in the fields they own.
