(The following is from the importer materials)
Frank Cornelissen, who previously worked as an agent introducing wineries and importing wine to Belgium and the Netherlands, began making his ideal wine at the foot of Mount Etna with the 2001 vintage.
We aim to produce wine and olive oil that can be described as sublimation of terroir with minimal human involvement.
Cultivation is done without fertilizers, and pesticides, even Bordeaux liquid, are basically not used (completely not used in 2001 and 2004).
Bottled without any sulfur dioxide or filter.

Frank Cornelissen

"Frank Cornelissen" attracts the most attention in Etna, Sicily!

The latest vintage is now in stock.
Among the producers who claim to be natural, Frank Cornelissen is the most aggressive winemaker.
He was originally a wine merchant in Belgium and is a close friend of Mr. Ota, the president of the importer Vinaiota, and when we talk to him, he seems to be a very stoic person.
Organic farming, no pesticides, no fertilizers, and even Bordeaux liquid is used as little as possible (not used at all in 2001 and 2004). Fruits removed from the sorting process are returned to the fields to be used as fertilizer. We are creating a cycle back to nature.

It has been more than 15 years since Frank's wine has been introduced to Japan, but I still clearly remember the first time I drank Frank's wine.

As a result of Frank's commitment to only the perfect grapes, he was able to harvest only 5 kg of ``Magma'' from one plot.
A wine that makes you feel the intense passion of the creator, for better or for worse. To be frank, I'm not sure if I'd call this wine ``delicious,'' but there is no doubt that it was a frighteningly impressive liquid with surprising tension.

And Frank's wines in recent years. Extremely sophisticated, truly delicious, and has a deep flavor.
I sometimes think that maybe his mental state at the time is expressed in the wine.
In that sense, he may also be a wine maker and an "artist"...

This time we have arrived a cru series that expresses the individuality of each field of "Mungebelle Rosso", which is the core of Frankish wine.
This time we have 6 cru wines in stock!!

Mt. Etna is a mountain, so naturally the fields are on a slope with a slope. There are many fields of dark soil made of volcanic rock. Rather than a large field, there are many small plots. It is a unique land with completely different characteristics depending on the direction of the field and altitude.
