After a slightly colder than average winter, bud bud and flowering proceeded smoothly, leading to harvest. Rainfall from late August to early September increased humidity, and the removal of rain-damaged grapes was key. While not an exceptional vintage, it can be considered a fine one. The wine immediately reveals light cherry and cassis notes upon opening, with a wonderful balance of aroma and body. The secondary aromas characteristic of Sangiovese are perfectly balanced with the sweetness.
