In 2019, the grapes were able to ripen slowly without the effects of excessive heat. Winter temperatures were average and dry. Cold weather lingered through early spring, but temperatures rose from March to mid-April. Drops in temperature and rainfall in May slowed the grape growth rate, necessitating green management. The harvest season was later than usual, with white grapes harvested in the fourth week of August, Merlot and Syrah from the first to third weeks of September, and Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc harvested from the fourth week of September.
