Emidio Pepe is a producer that has been practicing pesticide-free cultivation and additive-free wine for about 40 years, which is now becoming commonplace. Already in 1899, Pepe was famous for producing fine wines. In 1964, Emidio Pepe believed in the success of high-quality Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and began selling it in bottles for the first time in Abruzzo, where sfuso (sold by weight) was the mainstream at the time. We have been very close friends with Edoardo Valentini, another Abruzzo master, and have been in constant contact with them since the company's founding, exchanging ideas and opinions.We have earned praise from all over the world, including the respect of Edoardo's son who currently runs Valentini. It has become a charismatic presence in the Italian wine world.
