The two parcels, totaling 1.1 hectares, adjacent to the quarry are located on the hillside of Perrières, facing east, offering favorable conditions. The aromas shift from citrus to floral, while subtle mineral nuances are pleasant. The fruit, supported by firm minerals and lively acidity, has an appealing sweetness and a silky texture. The transformation of Château de Meursault is truly major news for Burgundy wine, but this was made possible in large part by the possession of excellent vineyards acquired over its long history. The vineyards stretch from north to south, covering 60 hectares. Meursault, the signature white wine brand (Chardonnay), is produced on approximately 10 hectares. The estate also encompasses Puligny-Montrachet, Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, and Savigny, with 23 hectares, more than one-third of which are Premier Cru and Grand Cru. In addition, Charmes, a renowned Premier Cru representing Meursault, is the largest owner with 4.7 hectares. To ensure the best possible results from these vineyards, the white wines are blended from multiple plots, but the red wine (Pinot Noir) brand "Les Grèves" is bottled without blending.
