Cooler than average May and June, coupled with continuous rainfall since spring, ensured that the soil was well hydrated for the summer. Despite the intense summer sunshine, temperatures remained relatively low and nighttime temperatures were lower than average, benefiting from the temperature difference. As a result, the grapes developed fresh, complex aromas, maintained acidity, and were harvested at ideal phenolic maturity, resulting in a wine with perfect fruit flavor.
