(The following is from the importer's materials) The two plots adjacent to the quarry, totaling 1.1 ha, are located on the hillside of Perrières and have favorable conditions, facing east. In addition to the aroma change from citrus fruits to flowers, the fine mineral nuances are pleasant. The fruit flavor is supported by hard minerals and lively acidity, with an attractive sweetness and a silky texture. The energetic and taut aftertaste continues powerfully. Click here for producer information ▼ The transformation of "Château de Meursault" can be said to be big news for Burgundy wine, but this has been made possible by the excellent vineyards acquired over its long history. Another big reason was that I owned one. The vineyard stretches from north to south and has an area of 60 ha, and Meursault, the representative brand of white wine (Chardonnay), is produced on a plot of approximately 10 ha. It also covers Puligny-Montrachet, Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, and Savigny, and has an area of 23 hectares, more than a third of which is Premier Cru and Grand Prix. In addition, Charme, which is famous as a premier cru representing Meursault village, has an area of 4.7ha and is the largest owner. In order to make stable use of the advantages of these fields, white wine is blended from multiple plots, but red wine (Pinot Noir) brand "Les Graves" is bottled without blending. .
