(The following is from the importer materials)
Sauzet owns the plot on the Puligny-Montrachet side. A field adjacent to the special grade field Montrachet, located at the bottom of the slope across one path. In addition to fresh fruits such as lychee and mango, you can feel the ripe aromas of almonds and honey. The bright acidity that frames the rich fruit is impressive, and the multi-layered fruit flavor and minerality give it a deep flavor.

ETIENNE SAUZET

A master craftsman of Puligny-Montrachet that is extremely difficult to obtain.

Etienne Sauzet is a talented Puligny-Montrachet player who is on par with the prestigious Leflaive. The mineral style, which beautifully harmonizes rich fruit and oak flavors, is consistent across all cuvées and has continued to fascinate Burgundy lovers for many years.

A winery pioneer who started ``Motojimi''
As it is said, ``When it comes to the maker of Puligny-Montrachet, it's Etienne Sozet or Leflaive,'' and Sozet is a talented maker who competes for number one or two in Puligny-Montrachet. A total of 17 brands including Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Batard-Montrachet, Bienvenue Batard-Montrachet, nine Premier Crus, Puligny-Montrachet, and the village name wine, AC Bourgogne. I am working on. The Sauzet family is an old family that has been in the grape growing and vegetable gardening business for about 150 years, before the phylloxera disaster that devastated grape varieties in Europe hit all of France. Since around 1935, about 80 years ago, we have been a pioneer in selling famous restaurants across France directly to customers, including the then-groundbreaking ``Domaine Motozumi''.

After Etienne Sauzet passed away in 1975, the domaine was taken over and is now run by the third generation, Jeanine and her husband, Gerard Boudot, and their daughter Emilie and her husband, Benoît Riffaud. -The winery is run by Mr. The winemakers are Emilie and Benoît Riffaud, who continue to use the name "SAUZET" to pay homage to the Chardonnay that Etienne continued to make.
