YES DOG GIN Cambodia

This year's botanical-filled YES DOG GIN is the Cambodian version.
I visited Cambodia for the first time in 15 years in February 2024. I was impressed by the spice of Khmer cuisine and the taste of herbs unique to Southeast Asia.
It is a famous pepper producing region, and there are a variety of peppers with different spiciness, including red, white, black and long.
I sublimated those experiences into gin.
A subtle hint of smoked citrus spreads, followed by herbal sweetness, the bitterness of root vegetables and a lingering peppery finish.
The taste is as fresh as a vein of water and gives off the illusion of plants. Mixed with soda, it's a Cambodian style.

*I met the CEO of Sanwespa in Gifu Prefecture five years ago. After that, I opened the gin distillery MAWSIM in Phnom Penh.
