(The following is from the importer's materials) Clay limestone soil containing a lot of rocks. No destemming, no sulfur or yeast added. Aged for 24 months in foudres and barrels. Clarified using egg white. Bottled without filtration. The color of the wine is deep carmine red with a purple tinge. A powerful and elegant scent. Trevallon's signature white pepper and licorice appear behind the ripe red and black fruits. Smooth and long, with ripe tannins on the finish. It has a good balance of freshness, tannins, and richness, and can be expected to age for 20 years.
