Previously, the wine was sold to Germany, but in 1964, Emidio Pepe began selling his own wine by the bottle. Currently, the winery produces approximately 50,000 bottles of wine per year from its 15-acre vineyard.

Emidio Pepe is a producer that has been practicing pesticide-free cultivation and additive-free wine for about 40 years, which is now becoming commonplace.
