This supreme Grand Cru shines with the complex flavors that only old vines can offer! Its aromas include red and black cherries, raspberries, spices, earth, forest floor, and chocolate. Over time, the rich aromas, including a hint of mushroom, emerge, revealing pure fruit, excellent acidity, and just the right amount of weight and elasticity. The long finish of ripe tannins lingers, revealing the deep minerality and complexity of old vines, creating a supreme flavor.

Coquard Loison Fleurot

A maker that attracts attention around the world, reminiscent of Gibourg and Rouget.

A domaine in the village of Flagey-Echezeaux that is little known internationally because until its predecessor, it was sold in buckets to major négociants and mainly sold in the French domestic market. The 9 hectare fields in each village of Côte de Nuits, including six special-grade fields, are located in excellent locations and have mature trees. After completing his training and returning to his family's domaine in 2010, Mr. Thomas Corrado began taking charge of cultivation and brewing, increasing the number of people working at the domaine, quickly blossoming his talent, and making a breakthrough in the international market. Influenced by the fact that he worked closely with Sébastien Catiard, the owner of Domaine Sylvain Catiard, who is a close friend of his generation, he, like Catiard, focuses on field work, and each terroir is clearly visible. It is characterized by a style with a certain degree of purity, precision, and dynamism.

In Wine Advocate issue 234, Neil Martin said of the 2016 vintage, ``Stylistically, it's reminiscent of Mugneret Gibourg, or its neighbor Emmanuel Rougier, with lots of crystalline red fruit. There is a feeling of tension, silky smoothness and tension that sends shivers down your spine.” Others such as Jancis Robinson, Jasper Morris, and Antonio Galloni are also paying attention and giving high praise. Due to the long and difficult-to-remember domain name, various media outlets have taken the initials and started calling it CLF instead of DRC.
