The vineyards are located in a sunny south-facing area, with a marl soil originating from the Eocene, with a predominantly red clay topsoil. The vineyards face the Orcia River, providing an ideal, unobstructed environment. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and glass-lined cement tanks. The wines are then transferred to 75hl Slavonian barrels for aging for over 36 months.
