JF Nick transformed Roussillon, a region dominated by rich, high-alcohol wines, into a soife powerhouse. This is his signature wine, which started it all! Expectations are high for the vibrant, fresh aromas. The palate is soife, yet the ripe fruit and umami flavors, typical of a hot year, linger into the long finish!
The name of the cuvée, "La Soif du Mal," comes from a detective film by American actor and director Olsen Welles. The English title is "Touch of Devil." The literal translation of the French word "Soif du Mal" is "thirsty for evil," meaning to be tainted by evil or desire evil. Jean-François loves this film.
