"Single Malt Komagatake IPA Cask Finish" is a single malt whiskey finished in an empty barrel that aged an India Pale Ale (IPA), a medium-dark beer brewed with plenty of hops at Minami Shinshu Beer Komagatake Brewery. It has a refreshing citrus aroma from the hops, a clear flavor reminiscent of grapefruit and herbs, and a crisp, bitter aftertaste, making it an excellent pairing with a highball.
