Pierre Yves Colin Morey

New domaine independent from Saint-Aubin master Marc Collin

Located in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy, Saint-Aubin is an appellation that has been rapidly gaining popularity in recent years. Saint-Aubin is a small village literally hidden in the shadow of Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. One of the greatest domaines in Saint-Aubin is Marc Collin. This Pierre-Yves Collin is a domaine founded by Mr. Pierre-Yves, Marc Collin's eldest son and brewer, and his wife, Caroline Moret. The first vintage was in 2001, but it has been highly praised by European and American wine people since its debut.
A very popular winery. In 2010, Batard Montrachet received the highest rating in the history of the domaine with 98 points from Wine Advocate.

Pierre Yves Collin's model makers include Leflaive, Coche Dury, and Leroy, who are among the best in Burgundy. I'm surprised that in recent years, his ability and reputation have reached a level comparable to theirs.

In cultivation, we carry on the spirit of Marc Collin and use Rutte Raisonné (cultivation with reduced pesticides) to bring out the natural flavor of the grapes. Furthermore, it is bottled and released without any fining or filtration.
