This is the final whiskey completed by Masataka Taketsuru, founder of Nikka Whisky, in his later years.
In 1976, more than 40 years after the company was founded, the first "Tsuru" was born from the aging of raw spirits with different characteristics at the Yoichi Distillery and Miyagikyo Distillery.
It is said that Masataka Taketsuru was often invited to weddings and other celebrations because of the auspicious spelling of his surname.
The bottom of this bottle, which is shaped to fan out at the end, is engraved with eight cranes in a bamboo grove. Cranes are symbols of longevity and marital harmony and are considered lucky charms, and a tag with the NIKKA logo is attached to the neck of the bottle.
To connect the image, part of the stopper on the Nikka Whisky Tsuru Noritake ceramic bottle was finished with cork.
Masataka Taketsuru's son also shares anecdotes about a Nikka Whisky tag collector and an actress who loved Nikka Whisky Tsuru.
