(The following is from the importer materials)
The appearance is greenish yellow. Refreshing citrus aromas such as lemon and lime, with hints of linden, white flowers, smoke and oak. In the mouth, fruit flavors reminiscent of peaches and tropical fruits spread out, and the salty minerality creates a deep and complex flavor. The acidity is sharp and gives the wine an elegant impression. This is a book that not only has a freshness that can be enjoyed from a young age, but also can be expected to change over time.

Gaya is a winery that boasts a prestigious position as a top producer of Italian wine. Since its founding in 1859 by the founder Giovanni Gaya, the family business has maintained a strict quality principle and produced high quality wine. The 4th generation head of the family, Mr. Angelo Gaya, is the most indispensable person when talking about Gaya. In Piedmont's traditional winemaking tradition, Mr. Angelo introduced barriques, the single vineyard concept, and the cultivation of international varieties, making a series of historic innovations a success.

As a result, Gaya received the highest rating ever from Gambero Rosso, the most authoritative magazine for Italian wine. In 2019, he won the Winemakers Winemaker Award, which is given to people who have made outstanding achievements in the field of brewing, and he is doing well enough to be worthy of the name "Emperor."

Idda is a joint venture that Mr. Angelo started in 2016 in Etna, Sicily. Mr. Angelo had long dreamed of making wine in this area, and in 2015 he began interacting with Mr. Alberto Graci, a local producer who has received high praise from many critics. As we came into contact with each other's artisanal winemaking and passion, we came to want to make wine together with him, and the following year, in 2016, we decided to establish Gaya's first joint venture.

For the people of Sicily, Volcano Etna has a strict yet gentle presence that envelops them. Since the wine is affectionately known as "IDDA", which means "she", we adopted that nickname as the wine name.
