The color is pale and clear, with a pure impression and a subdued tone typical of Nebbiolo. A slight orange hue is also characteristic of this variety.

The aroma is powerful and concentrated. It's a complex aroma that I would definitely recommend drinking in a large glass. There are fresh red fruit notes like pomegranate, but also animalic and spicy elements, and vegetable flavors like rhubarb. It's by no means green, and the impression is one of rich complexity. It also has a gorgeous aroma, with wilted rose, orange blossom, marigold, and Darjeeling-style black tea. You can even detect the scent of dried mushrooms. I've written a lot, but I hope I've been able to convey that this is an extremely complex wine.
